Mr. Sundfeld is full Professor at the São Paulo Law School of the Getulio Vargas Foundation - FGV Direito SP,
of which he was one of the founders. At this institution, he is a professor in the post-graduation stricto sensu
(Academic and Professional Master's), post-graduation lato sensu and graduation programs. He is president of the
Brazilian Society of Public Law - sbdp, founded in 1993, which maintains the Escola de Formação Pública - EFp, in
partnership with FGV Direito SP, and publishes the sbdp book collection. Doctor (1991), Master (1987) and Bachelor
(1982) in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo - PUC-SP, of which he was professor in its Doctorate,
Master and Graduation programs (1983-2013).
Among his most recent books: Direito Administrativo para Céticos [Administrative Law for Skeptics] (2014);
Contratos Públicos e Direito Administrativo [Public Contracts and Administrative Law], (2015); Direito da Regulação
e Políticas Públicas [Regulation and Public Policies] (2014); Contratações Públicas e seu Controle [Public Contracts
and its Control] (2013); and Pareceres [Legal Opinions] (2013), which reunites, in three volumes, several of his legal
opinions in relevant public matters. He is the founding partner of Sundfeld Advogados - Consultants in Public Law and Regulation.
He was Public Attorney of the State of São Paulo (1984-2003). In his career, he participated in the conception of legislative innovations
such as the pregão (a public procurement procedure), the Telecommunications Law, the Brazilian model of independent regulatory agency (ANATEL),
the Public-Private Partnerships Law, the Administrative Procedure Law of the State of São Paulo, and others.
